Meet Director/Founder/Coach Henderson:
Jason Henderson is the Founder of Northeast Project, a performance-based track & field training group dedicated to the development of high school, collegiate, and open athletes across sprint, hurdle, jump, and distance events. Based in Rochester, New York, Jason currently serves as a meet director and is a former USATF Athletic Chair with extensive experience in athlete development and program leadership.
Since 2022, he has served as the Founder of the Rochester City Panthers Track Club, where he trains athletes and has helped guide numerous student-athletes through the college recruitment process while emphasizing both athletic performance and academic success.
Jason is also a former Section V athlete and was named Private Parochial Athlete of the Year for the 2014–2015 season. He previously competed as an athlete with Fleet Feet Rochester. In addition to his work in athletics, Jason is also an author and mentor, committed to helping young athletes grow both on and off the track.

Coach Michael leads our middle-distance and distance programs, emphasizing smart training, strategic pacing, and mental fortitude. He crafts personalized training plans that build endurance, speed, and race-day tactics, whether for an 800m or a 5k. His approach integrates strength & conditioning, nutritional guidance, and recovery protocols, ensuring holistic athlete development. Coach Michael inspires athletes to push their limits and achieve sustained success in challenging endurance events.
